Owners' Comments

We have loved living here, particularly because of the amount of space the house offers. It's a bit of a Tardis – it looks smaller from the outside, but once you're inside, you realise there's a surprising amount of living space. As a family of three, we've found it more than adequate, and if we could pick the house up and move it elsewhere, we would.

The location is fantastic, with the Co-op just seconds away on foot and all the other amenities of Modbury close by. One of the things we'll miss most is the wonderful sense of community. Everyone is incredibly friendly, from our neighbours to the wider community, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved if you wish. Events such as the May Fair, the January Wassail, the Guy Fawkes fireworks and the Christmas lights switch-on help make Modbury such a special place to live.

Our nine-year-old attends the local primary school, which has been a wonderful experience. It's a welcoming, friendly school that provides lots of activities throughout the year.

The surrounding area is another huge advantage. The Millennium Meadow is just a stone's throw away, offering easy access to green space, while some of South Devon's most beautiful beaches, including Bigbury, Bantham and Thurlestone, are all within a short drive. In fact, most destinations are reachable within around 20 minutes.
