Welcome to Marjoram Road.

When I first discovered this family home, I loved the unique layout of the house with its space and light and the joined car port & garage which was fabulous for extra storage and never needing to worry about finding parking. All these years on I am still so happy here but the time has come for me to downsize and let a new family make wonderful memories here.

Upon entering, to park you will drive under the canopy and either into the open car port or garage. As this is adjacent to my home you never need to worry about unloading the shopping or having the stress of finding parking – it is safe and enclosed within this little development of homes and such a wonderful feature. I also have a large separate area which I use to store my bins.

Stepping foot through the front door you enter the welcoming hallway leading into the modern well-equipped kitchen. It has all my appliances and ample cupboard space with a bright clean finish.

Onto the lounge diner this is a cosy space to relax and unwind with a good book or movie and then I have my dining table for family dinners to all gather before we retire back to the sofa!

I have a large downstairs WC – which has scope to add a shower as it is so spacious.

Leading outside there is the private enclosed rear garden, a place to relax and unwind. I have a patio area with outdoor table and a pergola - a wonderful place to enjoy these delightful summers evenings.

Upstairs you will find three good size bedrooms – bedroom three now is used for storage as I am packing ready to move but we have created a CGI image to show the room with a bed so you can see this as a bedroom.

I have a contemporary family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, so we have the best of both worlds!

My home nestles in Stotfold a wonderful area with an array of amenities nearby. This area has an abundance of greenery with countryside walks on the doorstep as well as a park a 5-minute walk away. I very much enjoy my trips to Champneys or Jordans mill – a local restored watermill. We are in the catchment area to good local schools and there is a real sense of community here. Although there is the lovely rural feel, we are only a few miles to the market town of Hitchin or Letchworth.
